This was a cute little spot that I created in the back corner of my yard. It was tucked away behind the detached garage and hidden from view from the house. As the rest of the yard was evolving into a more manicured space, I felt the need to have a space that could be a little more wild, more colorful, and more changing. I wanted to fill this space with charming ornaments and seasonal flowers. Some of the materials I used were original old red bricks that were found beneath a layer of dirt, stones dug up during the yard renovation, and a metal grid trellis I bought for $10 at an estate sale. The trellis panels were stood up independently using steel rods to form a living screen once the vines grew in. The trellis was originally white but I spray painted it with a brown paint. A sitting area was creating by installing a small fence panel and laying a double layer of reed fencing as a roof. This space was always evolving, it later featured solar powered string lighting and path lighting which made it especially magical at night.

I later decided to make it mostly a container garden
